HOW THIS WORKS

    
This is a guided practice, not a contest: nobody is ranked and nobody is timed. Every lesson below teaches one idea, then asks you to prove it on your own private machine by capturing a flag.

    
    
      
  1. Pick your name on the left. That reveals your machine's address and password.
    2. 
      
  2. Open a terminal (Windows: PowerShell, Mac/Linux: Terminal) and paste the command from the page.
    3. 
      
  3. The first time it asks Are you sure you want to continue connecting? type yes. Then paste the password. Nothing appears while you type a password: that is normal, just press Enter.
    4. 
      
  4. Read a lesson, run its mission on your machine, copy the flag it prints (it looks like practice{...}) and paste it into that lesson's box.
